
DENTON (UNT), Texas 鈥 The earned recognition across multiple disciplines in the , with numerous programs placing among the nation鈥檚 top 100 and several achieving
top 25 and top 10 status.
鈥淭hese rankings reflect the continued dedication of our faculty and the success of
our students across a wide range of disciplines,鈥 said Provost and Vice President
for Academic Affairs Michael McPherson. 鈥淲e鈥檙e proud to see our programs recognized
for both excellence and upward momentum.鈥

UNT鈥檚 programs in the continue to stand out nationally, with multiple specialties ranked among the best in the country.
The master鈥檚 degree in public administration came in at No. 1 in Texas and No. 10 in the nation in local government management. For the first time, it received a ranking in the public finance and budgeting category where it sits at No. 1 in the state and 23 in the nation. In the homeland security and emergency management category, the college remains top in the state and came in at No. 6 overall.
Several other programs in the College of Public Affairs and Health Sciences also ranked among the top in Texas, including rehabilitation counseling and audiology, reflecting the college鈥檚 continued impact in preparing students for high-demand fields serving communities across the state.

said Nicole Dash, dean of the College of Public Affairs and Health Sciences.
In the , UNT was recognized with multiple top 100 placements, including production/operations and supply chain management, reinforcing the strength of its programs in logistics and operations. The college also saw new rankings for real estate, information systems, management, marketing, business analytics and accounting, highlighting continued growth across its graduate offerings.
Additional programs earning national recognition include materials engineering, fine arts and the part-time MBA program.
